Chinese, 20th century. Two unmatched porcelain floor vases with figural decoration on exterior. One with meandering spiral motif on rim above figural motive with yellow and green applied handles on neck, band on shoulders with diaper patterned motif with still life medallions, large figural scene below with figures on rafts retrieving pink lotus blossoms on white ground, prunus motif on rim. The other vase with similar handling (diaper patterned banding, applied yellow handles, hand painted on white ground) and large scene depicting lantern carriers and a gathering of men, opposite side with two peacocks, birds and floral motif. Both unmarked. Height 23.5", diameter of top 7.9".
