18th century, having a carved wood lid with pierced decoration and carved jade medallion, the jar painted in multiple tones of underglaze blue depicting lotus and aquatic plants interspersed with egrets, having a band of dental decoration with single band at top, with a double line of underglaze blue at bottom, with double ring on base with tea stained spider crack on base, atop a carved wood base with pierced decoration. Height of jar 8 1/8 inches.
