Greek. Attic skyphos cup with black handles on each side of deep well in vessel. Exterior with black figure decoration of two men in combat with shields and spears fighting flanked on by fern like plant motif. Cup raised on circular foot. Height 3.25", width (across handles) 8.9", diameter of opening 6.125". Provenance: From the Collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
