A typed letter to Jack E. Dalton, signed and dated September 18, 1935. Roosevelt writes from Hyde Park, New York, on White House stationery, to say that he is sorry to hear Dalton is resigning from his position as Chief of the Sugar Section of the Agricultural Adjustment Administration. Framed together with a signed typed letter from Senator Edward P. Costigan to John Dalton, dated October 21, 1935 on United States Senate Committee on Finance stationery, as well as an original photograph of Roosevelt in conference with General MacArthur, Admiral Leahy, and Admiral Nimitz during a tour of Hawaii in August, 1944. Together with a postcard of Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin published in Jerusalem.
