The slender baluster body rising from a narrow recessed base to a trumpet neck with everted rim, covered with mottled green and rose spots on a tan ground thinning to white at the rim. Height 6 7/8". With fitted wood stand. Note: Liuyeping means "vase for willow branches". It is a symbol of life. In ancient Chinese Buddhism, the Buddha uses willow branches in his vase to drip "water of life" to earth and people. (3000/4000)
