circa 1890, eight day time and strike movement with platform lever escapement, rack and snail striking on a coiled gong with ornate bronze case and porcelain panel on the lower front of a windmill scene, a porcelain and brass finial on top, 3 inch painted porcelain dial with Roman numerals, bronze case with cherubs on sides and bottom front, floral motifs, cornucopia with flowers surmounting the porcelain and brass finial; bronze scroll feet. Height 14 x width 8 x depth 6 inches.
