Adolphe Maubach (French 19th century), "Baby with Masquerade Mask and Hat at Carnivale". Terracotta sculpture depicted as seated nude baby wearing a horned jester hat and holding a masquerade mask in front of his face. His other hand holding a circular musical tambourine with a garland of roses cascading out of the side. Raised on a fluted oval socle base. Marked on base "A. MAUBACH". Height 16 inches, width 13 inches, depth 8.25 inches.
