19th century (circa 1860). Staffordshire pottery animal figure of a standing white bird (a white partridge) on a grassy hill or tree form. Bird depicted with feathers pulled back and with red accent around eye adjacent to black painted beak. Unmarked. One side missing painted elements on base. Height 12.5 inches. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton, Atlanta, Georgia.
