18th century. Large dogs seated on their hind legs with pleasant facial expressions with mouths slightly open to tongue. Ears on dog down and dogs with alert eyes. Tails at back in undulating form against dog figure. Dogs seated on intregal rock form base. Antiqued rock patina. Height approximately 38 inches. The dimensions at the base are approximately 14.5 inches across the front and approximately 26.5 inches across the sides. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B.
