the bottle of flattened shield form raised on a flat rectangular foot, the front and back embellished with mother-of-pearl depicting bird, baskets, cachepots with plants and vases filled with blooming prunus and peony branches set atop side tables, various scholar's objects including a scepter, albums, an inkstone and a brush, an archaic jade disc and a tray holding Buddha's hand citrons, all placed on top of a painting table, the base inscribed with a five-character maker's mark. Height 2 1/2 inches.
