the figure depicted sitting on a throne painted with chrysanthemum sprays within a shaped panel at front, his left hand raised to his chest bearing an open book, wearing elaborate loose robes decorated with writhing dragons amongst colorful clouds above stripes, secured by a waistband, the face with a fierce expression and flowing long beard, the base impressed with mark and maker's mark. Height 11 1/2 inches.
