Continental School, 19th century. Two small companion oil on board landscape paintings. One depicting a Dutch village with a windmill and figures on foot, horseback and engaged in daily conversations, monogrammed lower left "F.S.". The other depicting a European country rural scene with a home by the water with a horse drawn wagon in front of the home, church steeple in background behind the home on the left, monogrammed lower right (presumably F.S., however, first initial is an F and second initial could vary from other work). Framed 7" x 9". Image size approximately 4.75" x 7".
