Art Deco desk lamp with violet blue bell form iridescent favrile glass shade above a bronze metal base and tapered shaft with dore finish and blue and yellow enamel work on rectangular base in Art Deco motif. Shade signed on interior of fitter rim "LCT Favrile". Base is signed “Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces Inc. 369? as well as the Glass & Decorating logo. Height (to top of finial) 14.5". Diameter of shade at top 2.25". Diameter of shade at bottom 6.8". Provenance: Sotheby's, New York: Twentieth Century Decorative Works of Art, March 12, 1999 as Lot 242 whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
