Galle Art Nouveau marquetry inlaid two tiered accent or side tables decorated ornately throughout with flowers and leaves on shaped top with rounded edges protected with fitted glass. Lower cross stretcher shelf with additional inlaid flowers and leaves. Tables raised on four legs with splayed feet. Tops signed "E. Galle Nancy" with cross of Lorraine. Height 29", width 28.4", depth 19.5". Provenance: Sotheby's New York: Important Twentieth Century Decorative Works of Art, December 4, 1998 as Lot 594 whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
