Victorian flip top papier mache parlor table with gilt and mother of pearl inlaid decoration on black ground surrounding a hand painted floral grouping at center with additional mother of pearl accents. Border with scrolled foliate and leaf decoration. Table raised on a turned wood shaft above a floriform base with three petal form feet. Marked underneath "82.23.22", possibly an acquisition or inventory number. Height 28", width 29", depth 23.25".
