Large sterling silver bowl with Bacchanalian facial masks on sides with drop bracket handles in mouth, exterior of bowl with acanthus leaf tip decoration stemming from top of circular foot. Marked on side with faint maker's mark, hallmarks, and date mark. Bottom with "SORLEY SILVERSMITHS GLASGOW". Height 7.25", diameter of top 11.25". Total weight approximately 57 troy ounces.
