Oscar Bach (German/American,1884 -1957). Circa 1925, gilt bronze and wrought iron console table with pierced floral, leaved and facial decoration on band under black marble top. Additional gilt bronze scrolled foliate decoration on wrought iron cross supports. Raised on four gilt bronze legs terminating on hooved feet. Marked twice on band under marble top "282". Hoof foot marked "281". Height 33.2", width 53.5", depth 13.5". Provenance: Sotheby's New York: 20th Century Decorative Works of Art, June 6, 1996 as Lot 418 whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
