Group of five sterling silver overlay glass lidded ladies' perfume bottles each of varying size, maker, and pattern. Overlay work in floral and scrolled foliate form. Group comprising of an Art Nouveau Steuben glass perfume bottle in "Fig" form, monogrammed and marked "C22-3" and "STERLING" with flame form stopper; a Theo A. Kohn and Son (American, New York) .999 fine silver overlay perfume bottle marked "999/1000 FINE" and "THEO A. KOHN & SON"; a large perfume bottle with ovoid form stopper, marked "STERLING"; a small perfume bottle with round sterling stopper, marked "STERLING" on neck of vessel and with monogram; and a sterling overlay perfume bottle with floral motif on exterior and round stopper, monogrammed, apparently unmarked. Height of tallest bottle 8". Height of Steuben perfume bottle 6.25". Height of Theo Kohn & Son perfume bottle 4.25". Height of unmarked bottle 5.5". Height of smallest bottle 3.6". Provenance: From the collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia. Note: A few of the bottles appear to have been purchased from Bubbe's Antiques in Boynto Beach, Florida in the late 1990s, receipts available for review.
