Unmarked silverplated tazza or compote with circular shallow dish with figural scene at center medallion depicting Cerberus, a three headed dog or hellhound (guardian of the underworld) in Greek and Roman mythology beside a nude winged cherbub with bow and trident. Dish raised on a tripartite base with subtle rosettes. bracketing and scroll supports. Monogrammed on tapered shaft. Height 8.7", diameter of top 8.75".
