First Edition. 12 Issues, comprising of individually grouped folios, with phototype plates loose as issued. Lavishly illustrated throughout. Each folio with a title-page leaf listing the illustrations on each plate by number. The enclosed plates numbered sequentially throughout the folios 1-200. Each with photographic plates by P. P. Pavlov, some in color. In a decorative portfolio, cloth over board with leather label and ties. Contains original text in Russian (title page with introduction, 11 separate indices and general index to all plates) and 163 loose plates. Complete as published. This lot also includes a full size book with German foreword by P. Ettinger and published in Leipzig by Karl W. Hiersemann in 1913. Also added a 12th (supplemental) issue separately published in Moscow in 1914; portfolio containing text in Russian and 34 (out of 37) plates.
