Malina, New York, September 9, 1974 LITERATURE The Chinese Porcelain Company, Chinese Snuff Bottles and Jade Carvings from the Douglas, Gnam and Other Collections, (New York, 1992), cat. no. 108 the boulder is carved to one side with a scene of a sage and attendant traveling in a rocky landscape with a waterfall nearby, the reverse is carved with further rocky areas and trees, the stone is of a pale celadon tone with areas of mottled brown and russet inclusions, on a wooden stand, width: 8.5 cm (3 5/8 in.)
