$96,000
An Elvis Presley signed and twice-initialed three-page contract between himself and Col. Tom Parker. Dated November 21, 1955, the contract states that Presley has left Sun Records to join RCA Victor, an agreement secured by Parker that engages Parker as Presley's advisor and personal representative in all aspects of Presley's professional career. The contract additionally gives Parker a 25% commission on Presley's gross income. The contract is signed by Bob Neal, who managed Presley for about a year and a half. There is no known signed agreement between Presley and Neal. Scotty Moore also managed Presley prior to Parker, and while he has said there was a signed agreement, none has surfaced, making this Presley's first signed management agreement. Because Presley was only 20 at the time, his parents, Gladys and Vernon, have also signed the contract. Housed in a frame with reproduction black and white images of Presley at the contract signing with his parents. 35 by 43 inches, framed Categories: Elvis Presley
