$68,750
A sheer white French voile button front long-sleeve shirt. Together with a black spandex, right forearm glove with 10 decorative buckles and three buttons at wrist. This shirt and glove were created for and worn by Michael Jackson as he performed the song "Dirty Diana" during the shoot for his music video directed by Joe Pytka. Michael Bush recalls that Jackson had requested a black leather jacket to wear during the shoot for the video but once on set felt it was too heavy and didn't move enough. Michael Bush had been wearing this light French voile shirt, and Jackson said, "Bush, your shirt is winking at me." Bush gave Jackson the shirt off his back, and that became the look for Jackson's future performances of "Dirty Diana." The full story and an image of this shirt are featured on page 61 of The King of Style by Michael Bush. Categories: Michael Jackson
