A printed cotton muslin shirt and skirt set by Valentina circa 1946. The white fabric has a black printed floral and modified paisley pattern. The shirt is three-quarter sleeved with partial white lining, hook and eye closure. Skirt is lined in white silk, with Valentina label and signature spiderweb stitching at waist. No size present. Appears in the book Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style edited by Stefania Ricci (Milan: Skira, 2010) and previously exhibited: Museo Salvatore Ferragamo, Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style , February through September 2010.
