A group of Scandinavian items including a troll doll, a seated fabric gnome with fur trim; a wooden gnome doll holding a package, on the wood package a handwritten message reads "To Miss G From R.D." presumably from Roy Daum; a wooden doll wearing a bell and fabric clothing; and a miniature pair of wood shoes with a windmill decal that reads "Holland." The troll dolls are a Swedish tradition; trolls guard the house. Greta Garbo would hide the little dolls around her apartment for her great-niece and -nephews to find when they visited her.
