A custom black tulle dress made for and worn by Bette Midler. The tulle dress has an empire waistline, three-quarter sleeves, a small nude modesty panel, and a graduated hemline. The skirt has four layers of tulle: the first layer is embroidered in a vermicelli pattern and garnished with wavy lines of square jet-like sequins; the second layer is embellished with curvy lines of black rhinestones; the third layer is black tulle; and the fourth layer is nude chiffon with nude tulle trim.
