$20,000
A white cotton gi style jacket commissioned by Elvis Presley. The jacket is embroidered across the back "TCB" with images of a tiger and a dragon; additional TCB and lighting bolt motifs at cuffs. The jacket was made by Mike McGregor, who had a leather goods shop in Memphis and worked for Presley. The tiger and dragon design were drawn by Kim Taylor of Kim Taylor's Gun Shop. The concept for the jacket evolved out of a conversation between McGregor, Taylor, and Presley regarding incorporating the TCB logo and a tiger. The design was later used for a Presley leather suit. Accompanied by Taylor's original drawings for the design, a copy of a check signed by Presley to Taylor's Gun Shop dated 1970. Categories: Elvis Presley
