An original ticket from the Muhammad Ali vs. Sonny Liston Heavyweight Championship fight held in Lewiston, Maine, on May 25, 1965. The black and orange ticket features images of Ali and Liston and reads “A Fifteen Round Heavyweight Boxing Match for the Championship of the World/ St. Dominic’s Arena/ Lewiston, Maine/ Tuesday evening, May 25, 1965 – 10:30 P.M.” along with the main floor ticket price of $100. The Ali-Liston bout at St. Dominic’s Arena was their second meeting for the WBC Heavyweight Championship. Ali would win the fight after knocking down Liston in the middle of the first round.
