Walsh was the White Sox star pitcher from 1904-1916, leading his White Sox to a World Series Championship in 1906, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946. The postcard is signed "Ed A. Walsh/ White Sox/ Chicago" in blue ink. The postcard is addressed to "Don Lavey/ Main Road/ Silver Creek, New York," and is postmarked July 28, 1950.
