An ink signature on a postcard by legendary baseball pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander. Nicknamed "Old Pete," Alexander won his first World Series in 1915, pitched 90 career shutouts, and had 373 career wins. He was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1938, the only player elected that year. The postcard is postmarked June 27, 1950, and is signed by Alexander as "From/ Grover C Alexander" in blue ink.
