1966 Intercontinental Telephone Company "Mandarin" telephone, Telefone Continentale. Ivory and brass phone and cradle on a black lacquered, gilt metal mounted and ivory inset cabinet base with two doors opening to reveal a rotary dial decorated with a dragon flanked to each side with painted opposing dragons chasing the flaming pearl. The whole set on bracket feet. Phone comes with original paperwork and history of ownership from Fidelity Enterprises Co, Republic of China, Taipei, Taiwan. Height 12". Length 5.6". Width 4.25".
