A white painted Art Nouveau style highback armchair with beige linen upholstery stenciled with powder-blue roses. This item was part of Cecil Beaton's set design for the interior of Mrs. Higgins' home in the film My Fair Lady (Warner Bros., 1964), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Art Direction.
