A carved oak Gothic style throne with tracery pierced crest rail above panels depicting knights and a coat of arms over a box-seat with hinged lid. Used as an excursion throne by Bette Davis in her role as Queen Elizabeth in the film The Virgin Queen (20th Century, 1955). Marked on underside in ink "20thC-FOX."
