A white painted octogonal side table with stenciled powder-blue flowers. This item was part of Cecil Beaton's set design for the interior of Mrs. Higgins' home in the film My Fair Lady (Warner Bros., 1964), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Art Direction. It was also prominently featured in a series of photographs by Beaton of Audrey Hepburn and Gladys Cooper, including a shot of Hepburn in her famous ball gown with her gloved hand resting on the table. Accompanied by a book on Beaton's stage and film designs.
