A group of six jackets owned by Esther Williams. The first is a cream Criscione wool crepe jacket with gold tone embellishment. Accompanied by an image of Williams wearing the jacket in 1994 at the St. Regis Hotel Fashion Show with the American medal winning synchronized swim team wearing Williams designed suits and one with California Gov. Pete Wilson. The second is black knit with a zip front and white chenille embellishment, probably St. John. Williams wore this jacket to a luncheon honoring David Gest's upcoming autobiography at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles and in April 2004 to the ceremony for Ted Turner when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Williams wore an identical jacket to the opening night of the play An Evening With Golda Meir at the Canon Theatre on May 6, 2003, in Beverly Hills, California. Link to image available upon request. The fourth is a scarlet red crepe with satin trim with top stitching and artificial pearl embellishment. The fifth is a black knit jacket with white embroidery, applied iridescent rectangles, a decorative enamel and rhinestone button, and an attached modesty panel, probably St. John. The sixth is a black knit blazer with scarlet revers, pocket flaps, and cuffs, probably St. John. All pieces are labeled "Esther Williams."
