A pencil on paper portrait sketch of Greta Garbo by Einar Nerman (Swedish, 1888-1983). The sketch is of Garbo in profile with her face upturned. Nerman used this image of Garbo for a painting and etchings. It is twice signed "E. Nerman Hollywood May '40." Nerman was a close friend of Garbo.
