John Paul Getty and Ethel Le Vane's Collector's Choice : The Chronicle of an Artistic Odyssey through Europe (London: W. H. Allen, 1956), inscribed "To Greta Garbo/ with best wishes/ from J. Paul Getty/ Dec. 3, 1956." Getty was a personal friend of Garbo's, and she shared an intense interest in art. Garbo often stayed at Getty's residence in England, Sutton Place.
