A French language copy of Adolphe by Benjamin Constant (Paris: Rene Rasmussen) with annotations in Greta Garbo's hand. The majority of the annotations are translations of French words into English. The Royal Swedish Theater School that Garbo attended used French plays extensively, especially those by Moliere. Many of the plays were performed in their original languages.
