A group of costumes believed to be worn by Mitzi Gaynor in The I Don't Care Girl (20th Century, 1953). The first piece is screen worn. It is a gold lamé dress layered with tulle and gold embroidered lace and embellished with tiny gold sequins. There is a bias label that reads "1-251-4171 Mitzi Gaynor A 656-68." The other three pieces are not in the final cut of the film. The second piece is a gold lamé fish-scale dance bodice with sequin bows labeled "Mitzi Gaynor A-656" and a matching turban with a bias label that reads "1-25-1-4131- A656-39." The third piece is a mint green and gold brocade dress with a ruched waistband and embellished with scalloped tulle with sequin and bead work. A bias label reads "Gaynor A656-14." The fourth piece has a gold bodice with beading on nude chiffon and a coral chiffon skirt with a bias label that reads "1-25-1-4191 Mitzi Gaynor A 656-76." Costume design by Renié. Categories:
