A mixed media on illustration board costume sketch of the dress worn by Grace Kelly to the civil ceremony of the royal wedding of Kelly and Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956, signed "Designed by Helen Rose. " An added notation on the mat frame reads "Lace suit worn by her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco for civil service wedding." The dress was executed by Oscar-winning costume designer Rose, whom Kelly personally chose to design both her civil ceremony dress and religious ceremony gown.
