An ebony silk crepon dress cut on the bias worn by Anna May Wong in Daughter of Shanghai (Paramount, 1937). The figure-hugging dress is gathered at the center front and has a built-in gold lamé bandeau top lined in ivory silk, scattered gold paillettes, and a center slit.
