A Greta Garbo doll with porcelain head and handpainted features, soft body with porcelain black high-heel feet. The doll is dressed in an off-white turtleneck and brown skirt with a beret. The outfit resembles a costume worn by Garbo in Anna Christie (MGM, 1930). Believed to have been made for Marie Dressler, who played Marthy opposite Garbo in Anna Christie .
