A petal pink dress, parasol, and wide-brimmed hat owned by Ann Corio, a well-known burlesque artist and pin-up girl in the 1940s who had a stage career lasting well into the 1980s. The dress has a fitted lace bodice embellished with silver bugle and rhinestones, a satin sash, a full sheer skirt garnished with applied lace and rhinestones over a built-in petticoat. The back bodice has three large hook and eye fasteners for a quick reveal. The parasol has a wooden handle and sheer pink cover with ruffles, applied lace, and rhinestones. The large brim hat is covered in lace and embellished with rhinestones, a large red flower, and ivory feathers. Corio wears a similar style ensemble in This Was Burlesque (HBO, 1988).
