A heavily embellished gown worn by Betty Hutton's double in The Perils of Pauline (Paramount, 1947). The crepe gown is garnished with turquoise sequins and bugle beads in a vermicelli pattern. The bodice has a scalloped neckline, a nude illusion back panel, and an exaggerated peplum. The skirt is slim fitting with a front slit and an asymmetrical hemline. A Paramount stamp is inside the garment. Costume design by Edith Head.
