Beadwork from a Barbara Stanwyck gown worn in The Great Man's Lady (Paramount, 1942). The costume is not original to the film but has been recreated to preserve the original beadwork. The four elaborate silver birds are formed from bugle beads in varying sizes and metal beads with rhinestone eyes. A Paramount label reading "Barbara Stanwyck" has been resewn into the bodice.
