A navy silk period swim costume worn by Claudette Colbert in Remember the Day (20th Century, 1941). The bathing dress has a sailor collar, lacing at the waistline, white stripe trimming, puffed sleeves, and an asymmetrical skirt. There are a 20th Century Fox label that reads "Job 31909 date 8-12-41 Name C. COLBERT Inv. 1-69-6-0320" and a Fox cleaning tag. Appears in the book 20th Century Fox : Inside the Photo Archive edited by Deborah Aaronson (New York: Harry N. Abrams, 2004). Accompanied by a colorized studio image of Colbert wearing the piece.
