A group of four pages of handwritten notes from friend and sixth-floor neighbor Walter Thayer. The notes are addressed to "Gi.Gi." and contained in a Whitney Communications Corporation envelope addressed to "Miss Garbo." In part, "Keep walking- ever in the rain. Get better! We need you in good heath -" Thayer was a typical type of friend for Greta Garbo to have: a New York businessman of incredible intelligence and culture. Thayer began his career as a reporter and ended it as president of the International Herald Tribune.
