A pair of baseballs used in batting and/or fielding practice and signed on-site during the 1979 World Series. The first ball is a Rawlings Official National League Baseball (Feeney) signed by six members of the Baltimore Orioles including Mark Belanger, John Lowenstein, Ken Singleton, Rick Dempsey, Lee May, Benny Ayala, and two members of the Pittsburgh Pirates including John Candelaria and Steve Nicosia. The second ball is a Rawlings Official American League Baseball (MacPhail) signed by nine members of the Baltimore Orioles including Eddie Murray, Jim Palmer, Mark Belanger, Gary Roenicke, Rich Dauer, Tippy Martinez, Elrod Hendricks, Ken Singleton and then retired Oriole Brooks Robinson. Accompanied by a 1979 World Series Field pass for admission to Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each baseball is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
