A pair of black flip-up sunglasses game worn by former Boston Red Sox outfielder and Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee Ted Williams. The sunglass frames are hinged and spring-mounted with small handles beside each lens, which allowed Williams to flip the shades up or down while fielding. The nose piece is heavily taped, with Williams' number "9" handwritten in black ink just above the nose and beneath the spring. The left arm of the glasses is broken.
