The group includes 16 signed baseballs, many of which were used in fielding and/or batting practice in advance of Major League Baseball's All-Star Game and World Series; eight signed official National League baseballs with the first acquired on opening day at Brooklyn's Ebbets Field in 1951 and signed by then Borough President of Brooklyn John Cashmore; additional Rawlings National League baseballs (Feeney) signed and personalized by Steve Garvey, Tom Seaver, Jack Clark, Lou Piniella, Dusty Baker and singer Tony Orlando and non-personalized signed balls from Lenny Dykstra and David Justice (Coleman); and Rawlings American League baseballs signed and personalized by Tom Seaver and Bucky Dent and singer Toni Tennille and non-personalized signed balls from Yogi Berra, John Smoltz, Luis Tiant and Bob Doerr. Also included are a baseball signed and personalized by Norman "Red" Branch in 1943, a baseball from the 1984 Olympics, a 1991 World Series baseball signed and personalized by then commissioner Fay Vincent and additionally signed by Jack Morris, and a Cleveland Indians 1994 Jacobs Field Inaugural baseball signed on the sweet spot by then manager Mike Hargrove.
